Roofing Sales Territory Manager Montreal, QC

Territory Manager (Roofing Sales) - Three positions available

A roofing and flooring company with over 100 years of business experience is currently recruiting for three Territory Managers (Roofing Sales) through Eximius Personnel, the city's leading recruitment agency.

The company is a manufacturer and distributor of high-performance roofing and flooring solutions for commercial, industrial, and public properties. Business activity also includes maintenance solutions and assessment management programs for clients.

The employment opportunity involves international expansion and opening new sales territories throughout the world. The company is committed to an atmosphere conductive to job satisfaction and individual advancement.

Mandate

The Territory Manager’s mandate involves representing the company to all customer accounts in a designated geographical territory. The individual will research territories, plan and implement strategies, and develop, expand and service a base of business.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be ready to face the challenge of international expansion and global competition with dedication. He or she must be prepared for hard work in the sales force to break into new markets. The desire to learn, apply product knowledge and use strong selling techniques as well as the ability to problem-solve and build long-term relationships are key qualities.

Position Responsibilities

  • Develop new markets and accounts
  • Maintain control of financial aspects of selling
  • Provide leadership and good management practices
  • Maintain records, flow of information and administrative details
  • Develop key accounts
  • Manage marketing efforts
  • Optimize distribution
  • Provide customer service
  • Provide training for others
  • Cooperate with company implementation of telesales strategies and programs

Competency Profile

  • Strong roofing knowledge and skill base
  • Good leadership and management practices
  • Demonstrated motivated behaviours
  • PC and/or Mac skills with strong familiarity of internet-based tools and Microsoft Office software.
  • Ability to handle interactions in a professional, efficient and friendly manner.
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience. Preference towards a College diploma or University degree.

Training Program

The chosen candidate will attend an intensive specialized training program designed to provide skills, knowledge and incentives to excel in a career where growth potential is virtually unlimited. Opportunities for advancement as Trainers and Regional Managers are provided for successful leaders in assigned territories.

Compensation

Base salary plus guaranteed commission structure and protected territory.

Job Location

There are three positions available: Montreal East, Montreal (West Island), and Laval.
