Entrepreneurial professional services organization requires an experienced technical Inside Sales / Business Development person. Knowledge of Call Centre environment is a must. The candidate must possess a background with proven experience and understanding of deployments and implementations of mission critical solutions in some or most of the following areas:

Prime Platform Skill: Cisco Systems and Nortel Networks

Well-rounded telephony professional with demonstrated experience in establishing and networking through contacts to uncover application, services or product development sales opportunities in the North American market.

Responsibility for working with a team of Call Center Technology engineers skilled on multiple IVR and CTI platforms, with a focus on developing and supporting custom solutions encompassing a wide variety of back-end integrations as well as several packaged solutions aimed at enhancing call center efficiency.

Detail and process-oriented with a strong focus on ensuring high quality results while meeting or exceeding project technical objectives and maintaining defined budgets and schedules.

Individual must be a self-starter with a strong character and possesses excellent English written and oral communication skills and a working knowledge of French; someone with strong interpersonal skills and enjoys establishing customer & partner relationships and recognizes the need to provide value to foster such relationships.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work with professionals and software developers; willing to learn and grow in a solution-providing environment and deliver excellent customer satisfaction;
  • Sound understanding of telephony as it relates to systems integration;
  • Knowledge of the Nortel & Cisco family of products (Cisco CVP, Periphonics MPS);
  • Ability to interpret design schemas (call flows, functional specifications, architectural diagrams, etc.) coupled with business-analysis skills including the ability to understand end-to-end call centre environments and technologies;

Compensation:

  • Range of $60K - $90K depending on relative experience & certifications.
  • Company benefits plan after 3 months service.
  • This is a full-time position based in our Montreal office.

Position Description:

Pre-Sales and Vendor Relations

  • Develop & strengthen key business relationships with various partners and direct customers (travel to partner site may be necessary);
  • Search and identify sales opportunities through networking (critical requirement);
  • Define project scope and finalize all details to be included in a scope of work;
  • Respond to RFP/RFQ’s and participate in preparing estimates in hours and dollars as well as calculate and propose selling prices to insure profitability;
  • Prepare statements of work (SOW’s), follow up and close sales with clients;
  • Prepare and make sales presentations where necessary;
  • Attend internal sales meetings and provide accountability to the tracking of sales opportunities and related reporting;
  • Attend trade conferences and various partner trade shows as required.

Post-Sales and Project Implementation Management

  • Assist in managing projects within constraints of scope, schedule, and budget and provide administrative leadership. Remain continuously aware of business, technical, and infrastructure issues and assist in providing technical direction where possible in the development of solutions;
  • Participate in customer requirements gathering and scoping efforts to listen, discuss and document customer’s functional requirements, guiding the client into a product fit by discussing the value of existing product functionality (travel to customer site may be necessary);
  • Proactively managing project scope to ensure on-time delivery of solutions to our clients;
  • Communicating internally with Product Management, Product Development, Support and Senior Management to maintain a clear communication channel regarding implementation delivery. Prioritize projects and activities to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction as well as completion of projects in line with financial goals;
  • Facilitate communication upward and across project team including project status, justifications for variances and specific key project information. Disseminates information on any problems or potential delays as needed;
  • Demonstrates leadership by example.

Marketing

Work in harmony with the Business Development Group to assist in executing marketing initiatives:

  • Assist in developing sales tools (product briefs / documents) and marketing programs;
  • Contribute ideas and effort in developing products and solutions for “go to market” purposes (product management);
  • Develop relationships with our key technology vendors and insure registration and company participation in all vendor partnership programs;
  • Assist in providing conference / tradeshow planning, coordination and registration;
  • Participate in website development process including web page content and updates.
